When I returned to campus at the beginning of this semester, I was surprised to see the same old furniture that had been in Case last semester.

The entire Skidmore family is grieving over Michael’s death and Oban and Toby’s injuries at the hands of a drunk driver, and this includes alumni around the country. At least, those of us who attended Skidmore after the college changed its alcohol policy in 2005 remember. You see, this tragedy has been ten years in the making, and may require some contextualization that current students may not be equipped to provide.
