Finger Snaps: A Galactic Pair, Haikus

May 2, 2021 Dianna Mason and Robin Jones

I’ll always be near,

Even when we leave this place,

Our hearts glow the same.

When you feel the earth,

Oh, please remember my name,

Through summer’s long days.

As stars and as earth

We stand side by side in each

Other’s arms. Oh!

But to be human,

To make mistakes. Let’s return now

To the mossy bench
