Empty table series, Haikus

January 20, 2021 Olivia Rosenblum

Alone at the table

An empty plate sits

With a fork but not a spoon

Dinner for one is done

The meal is done
A trampled can sits

By a dirty plate and bowl

Fork and Knife sit crossed
