“Skidmore” New Zealand, A New Study Abroad Option

Currently, Skidmore runs three study abroad programs (Skidmore in Paris, Skidmore in London and Skidmore in Spain), but starting in Spring 2018, there will be a fourth program, Skidmore in New Zealand.

Skidmore Lowers GPA Requirement for Off–Campus Study

Skidmore announced on Jan. 25th that the GPA requirement for off-campus study had been lowered from a 3.0 to a 2.75. This means that those that have a 2.75-2.99 will now be automatically eligible for off-campus study and will not have to petition for an exception to the policy with the Committee on Academic Standing (CAS).

Compensation for Fall Study Abroad Intended to Address Housing Shortage

In recent years, Skidmore has been increasingly concerned about the imbalance in student's studying abroad between the fall and spring semesters. The Office of Off Campus and Exchange launched a fall abroad campaign to try and fix the imbalance.

Sudden Departure of Skidmore in Paris Resident Director Causes Program Changes
