Skidmore News is welcoming letters to the editors (LTE) from any readers who wish to further conversations, debates, and interests offline. In both the Skidmore News and other publications, LTEs have a history of promoting lively discussions, and will be published under the editorial section on the website.
The LTEs will be replacing Skidmore News’ comments section. Comments take a lot of time and resources to moderate, and Skidmore News simply does not have the budget for it. Many other news publications, including Vice and Bloomberg, have reached the same decision and have turned away from comment sections.
