Closeness, A Poem

The rise and fall of your chest

Is like the movement of life.

The clock tucked away inside causes strife.

Thinking less—

Loving more.

With every look into your eyes it’s blessed.

We’re so close you reflect

(In my eyes).

Crystal Clear,

I know I could cry.

As I rest my head on the pillow,

I look

into your dye.

your arm rests on my body,

your hands know every inch of my body.

I read the way your body breathes

Moves,

Destroys mine.

I (once) looked at you with everything.

Now, every time

I look a(way)

into the past and future.
