Eyes, a welling sea
Slowly drowning me
Swept and carried away
Whirled and whipped astray
Hand grasps for beating sun
He will risk for no one
For reaching down to shore
He leaves his raptures galore
Not a beam—a friend to you
The rest left to rot and rue
Not just a passive glance
But retract, a backwards dance
Drift out to lonely space
Pray and pray a darkness safe
For cold is hot, away is close
Thus toast a boasting host.
These fragile hands solely for him
Yet burn the world on a whim
Light-years away in flaming ire
Yet farther behind, as his desire.
Team of stars he made to shine
Blanket their light, in bed—resign
As Anger walks 'round, thick and heavy
The thoughtless Rhinoceros to breed is ready
For great again he shouts and shouts
But to our hearts and minds, he clouts.
